The hunt for
this year’s most coveted title in Kerala begins! The audition of Miss Kerala
2012 is coming to your town.
Miss Kerala is state’s most credible beauty pageant with
lineage of 12 years, and attempts to bring aspiring young talent to limelight. Miss Kerala 2012 is a world of opportunities for
Malayalee women with a chance to meet and
interact with many elite people and explore a world of opportunities. The renowned trainer’s grooming experts will help you
in your over all personality as
well as equip yourself for national and international level beauty events held
anywhere.
It is fact that many girls like Malayalam actress Rima
Kallingal (1st runner-up Miss Kerala 2008), anchor turned actress
Shruthi Menon Menon (1st runner-up Miss Kerala 2002) and leading
anchor and model Ranjini Haridas (Miss Kerala 2000), who have entered through MIss Kerala have shot up to fame and marked
their presence in the glam world. Many Mumbai based Keralites has been in the finals
and awarded the sub-titles, where they get an opportunity to get judged by the
former Miss India Asia Pacific winners like Swetha Menon.
“In a decade, we have witnessed more than 3000 applicants
from Keralite women belonging to various places and backgrounds. Nearly 300
girls have contested in the final round and have excelled greater heights not just
in the glamour industry, but in their chosen field of academic pursuits” says
Harish Babu, Managing Director, Impresario Event Management Company, the show
organizers. Impresario, the pioneers of event management in the state has ample
evidence to show how the contest has come a long way in terms of
professionalism during the last 12 years.
Apart from the mail title, the contestants would be awarded
with various other subtitles. Auditions are being conducted at Bangalore,
Chennai, Ahemadabad, Mumbai, Dubai and Kochi.
Girls of Malayalee origin (at least one parent) between the
age group of 18-24, with a minimum height of 5.2” can take part in the contest.
Twenty-two girls will be shortlisted from the entries at the preliminaries and
will be groomed for a week by an expert panel to participate in the grand finale to be held in Kochi on September 21st
2012.
