Thantedam Gender Fest is an initiative by the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Kerala, to celebrate womenhood. March 8th being international women's day, lighted lamp to the 9 day long gender festival, which provided a platform of convergence for the various activities of women and to create discourse on gender issues. It was an egalitarian, creative and open forum drawing women from all walks of life to share experience and problems they face in daily life, irrespective of any social, political or economic segregation.
Impresario successfully managed the 9 day long event whose focal theme was " celebrating women hood" and a collective gathering of more than 5000 women from all sectors of the society. The vent which had various phases was staged in 11 venues simultaneously and Impresario hand holded the promoters right from pre event activities like road-shows and PR.
